Fish in Orange Sauce (serves four)
Ingredients
Juice of 2 oranges
Juice of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon margarine
? teaspoon black pepper, coarsely ground
4 fillets fish
small quantity of plain flour
Directions
1. Place juices, margarine and pepper in pan.
2. Cook until slightly reduced.
3. Dust fish with flour.
4. Add to sauce and poach until just cooked, turning once.
5. Lift out onto serving plates. Spoon sauce over the fish.
Nutrition per serve
166 calories, carbohydrate 4g, protein 27g, fat 4g.

Decrease in city’s prime retail rent of ten per cent

PROPERTY: Prime retail rents in Hull have fallen by ten per cent this year according to a recent report.
The Colliers International Rents Map showed a 1.1 per cent decrease in retail rents across Yorkshire and the Humber for 2010, above the average decrease of 1.5 per cent across the UK.
There were big variations across the region with areas such as Scarborough seeing rent increases of 6.7 percent.
Greg Styles, head of retail development at Colliers International, said: “I believe that we will start to see a marked polarisation in the retail property market as a whole; with an increased demand for ‘quality stock’ in major towns, city centres and major regional shopping centres.
“We have found that retailers are finding it increasingly difficult to justify being represented in every town in the UK.”
He warned that this could mean smaller centres would lose out.

WORKERS at a sewage plant were stunned to find freshwater fish swimming in a treatment tank.
Trout, bream, chub and roach were spotted during a routine inspection. Worker Jeff Eades said staff at the Yorkshire Water site in Pontefract often found jewellery and false teeth but not live fish.
He said: “I thought I’d seen everything until I discovered the mini-aquarium here.”
It is thought the fish, which are healthy, were washed into the tank – used at the last stage of treatment – when a nearby stream burst its banks.
